Services:
Barefoot Shiatsu Massage:- Done on a mat wearing loose clothing, barefoot shiatsu uses the feet along with the hands for added leverage in compressions.
- Intense stretching loosens limbs. Barefoot shiatsu is wonderful for people who love deep pressure.
Swedish massage:- This feel-good type of massage is used commonly in spas and resorts.
The practitioner kneads the muscles with oil to release toxins and relieve tension.
Hot Stone Massage:- Hot stone therapy works like a very specific heating pad-- the warmed river stones offer a natural, soothing heat to loosen tight muscles.
Warmed muscles respond better to massage with less invasive pressure and soreness for the client.
Chair massage:
- A great way to bring relaxation to your office space or party.
Sports Massage: - A more rapid, vigorous style of massage focusing on particular muscles used in a sport.
Leigh has worked on Team in Training, AIDs ride, and other athletes.
Pregnancy Massage:- Pre-natal massage can help you stay comfortable and healthy during your pregnancy.
Leigh works with some of the special concerns of pregnancy, such as lower back pain, sciatica-like pains in the hips and gluteus area, leg cramping and more.
- Certified by renowned teacher/ author Carol Osbourne-Sheets, Leigh is well versed
in the contraindications and precautions necessary for working on pregnant mothers.
Post-partum Massage:- assists with the recovery period and adjustment after the
labor process.
- After labor mothers may need bodywork on the rectus abdominal
muscles, the rhomboid area used in holding the baby, and general relaxation
techniques.
